For private-label brands, importers and retail buying teams sourcing home textiles.
Curtains: specify the finished panel
State width and drop for each panel, whether the retail unit contains one or two panels, heading type, lining and care requirements. If light blocking matters, agree the test and result required; a photograph cannot establish blackout performance.
Cushions: distinguish cover from filled cushion
Confirm cover-only or filled supply, finished size, closure, edge finish and insert requirements. Specify individual and master-carton packing, and whether compression is acceptable.
Bedding: send dimensions, not just a size name
Queen and king dimensions differ by market and retailer. Provide finished measurements for every component, the set count, closure type, face and reverse fabric, and care requirements.
Blankets: define weight and finishing
Confirm dimensions, material composition, fabric weight, edge construction and packing. Request samples to assess hand feel, shedding and the performance relevant to your market.
Shower curtains: separate style from performance
Provide dimensions, hanging method, liner needs and required testing. Do not assume a decorative textile is waterproof, mold resistant or suitable without a liner.
Quotation: align the commercial details
Include quantity by style and color, destination, delivery window and your preferred trade terms. Ask the supplier to state MOQ, sampling cost, production lead time and packaging assumptions in writing.
Quality: agree evidence before production
Identify applicable market requirements and tests before sampling. Ask for documents relevant to the exact product and material. General marketing claims are not a substitute for current, applicable evidence.
